Scientific Committee (CSTA)

The Comité Scientifique et Technique Aéronefs (CSTA) is constituted of experts in all domains covered by the airborne research. These experts have long experience with research aircraft.

Role of the CSTA

The CSTA has to advise about :

- the proposed campaigns to be flown by SAFIRE

- eventual calendar conflicts between projects

- investments for instruments and all decisions which have an impact in the service SAFIRE can provide to the scientific community.

On 01/04/21, the president of the CSTA is Paola Formenti.

Some members of the CSTA are listed as referee experts for SAFIRE in specific domains: chemistry, microphysics, aersols, remote sensing, radiometers...
