The purpose of the team BAC is to accompany the users of the SAFIRE research aircraft alla along their project. From the idea to the airborne campaign, we provide technical support at each step of the project, as shown below.
One of the key-steps is the certification of the instruments. The team BAC manages this step following the integration process described hereafter.
LEXICAL
- DDI : Document Descriptif Instrument (descriptive document)
- ELA : Electrical Load Analysis
- W&B : Weight & Balance
- EMI : Electromagnetic Interference
- DCI : Document Conformité Instrument (Compliance document)
- DGAC : Direction Générale de l’aviation civile - French civil aviation authority
- AESA : Agence Européenne de la Sécurité Aérienne - European Air Safety Agency
Conception of instruments and interfaces should be locked at least 6 months before the test campaign, to enable a certification process in the best conditions. For validation needs, users are required to provide a 3D model of the instrument. The aeronautical engineering and certification department uses CATIA V5, models can be provided under formats CATIA V5 or STEP 214.
If needed and after asking, we can supply D models of aircraft zones impacted in order to help designing an instrument by your laboratories. We accompany our users alla along the designing step, making sure of the compliance of prototypes with aeronautical rules, for the success of certification.
